Russ Eckenrod ended up working for General Curtis LeMay. I'm sure that was no easy task. Russ sent me a copy of the Special Orders transferring us from the 809th to the 90th Comm. Sq. It was full of names, ranks and serial numbers. It helped me find 6 Airmen today. Thank you, Russ!

I'm Rick French, rd_draft@comcast.net, 509-435-5839 and I was a HICS (Hardened Intersite Cable System) splicer in the Air Force for 24 years, and stationed at Malmstrom, FE Warren and Ellsworth. I am letting you know that there is a HICS Association being built. We have approx. 300 people located and have had three Reunions (FE Warren, Branson and Malmstrom) and our next one is at Ellsworth (Rapid City) in June 2011.
